I wanted to take the time to point out that I said that the game was available on GOG.COM. However, this is not the case and I want to clarify
that the game is available on the following platforms:
for the confusion about where you could obtain a copy of Ranch Simulator.
The Following game Ranch Simulator was provided to me for free by the developers/publishers
of the game. I would like to thank the developers/publishers for providing a free copy of the game to play on my stream.
The following Live Stream Footage of
Ranch Simulator is an early access version of the game. Therefore, the footage you see may or may not be featured in the final version of the game, also there may be some noticeable bugs in the game.
In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Ranch Simulator on PC.
Ranch Simulator is a simulation game that is currently
in Early Access. As I am a huge fan of simulation games. I thought this one would be cool to show off to the community. I would like to thank the publishers and developers of Ranch Simulator for providing me with a free copy of the game to play on my stream
and to play to write this review about.
As I stated Ranch Simulator is still in its early stages as this is an Early Access game, so just remember that the game
still has time to improve. Ranch Simulator combines several different sims into one. It is a farming sim, a hunting sim, and a building sim. The game starts off that you arrive at the Ranch of your grandfather who has left it to you. It was awkward that your
grandfather calls you grandchild, so I can only think you're not his favorite grandchild that or he simply can't remember your name. So it would be nice to name your character as grandchild feels a bit harsh.
The game starts up and you have been told the ranch has been left to you and you get the joy of fixing this ranch up. I love the idea of fixing up a ranch, but again the game is a little rough around the edges a bit.
I found it interesting that you are sleeping in a tent and you also use this tent to save as well. The game makes you put a lot of things together. Such as going into town you have to put the whole car together just to go into town. Once you go into town it's
pretty dead. Minus yourself, there is the real estate agent and the guy who sells you cars and upgrades them. So I will admit it's really odd that there are only three people in the whole town. So I would like to see more NPC because it feels odd that the
town is that huge with no one in it.
The controls for the game were okay. It uses a keyboard and mouse, however, the mouse is way too sensitive and if you are someone
who suffers from motion sickness the controls can prove to be a problem in itself. Even turning them down I still experience some discomfort with the controls.
was also a part in the game where I was sent to buy things, but I didn't know what I was supposed to buy. Until after I came up after I exited the screen from the store in-game. Which brick the game at that point.
Overall, Ranch Simulator is a great idea on paper, and I hope that some of these things can be fixed, to improve the game.
If you would like to play Ranch Simulator for yourself, you can do so on the following platform(s):
