In this gameplay video, Ready Set Indie Games plays Hotel Renovator Demo on PC.
This is the Steam Next Fest Demo of Hotel Renovator and therefore is either an alpha version
or beta version demo of the game. Therefore, the footage you see may or may not be featured in the final version of the game, also there may be some noticeable bugs in the game.
What more can I say? I'm a huge fan
of simulation games and I tend to really gravitate towards those types of games and will sink hours upon hours into a simulation game. So when I saw Hotel Renovator had a free Demo to try out during Steam Next Fest, I knew I would be crazy to not give it a
go and I'm glad that I did because I really enjoyed the game a lot.
As the title of the game says Hotel Renovator puts you in the shows of a person who is going to be renovating a hotel into a five-star luxurious
hotel. One of the main things I loved about the game was its randomness like the random "tenant" that lives in there whom we have to get them to leave the hotel in a very comical way. After that in the demo, you are tasked with setting up one of the rooms
for a music video.
One of the things I really enjoyed about the demo was the way that you could paint multiple ways or lay multiple floors immediately. Now again, that could have just been featured in the demo,
and in the full version you might have to build up to that, but it was a breath of fresh air to be able to work quickly. I also liked how a lot of things in the store were locked and you had to reach a certain level to unlock objects, it gives the game a sense
of an objective. So not only are you trying to rebuild the hotel into a five-star luxury hotel, but you also are striving to open up all of the objects to feature into your hotel.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with
this demo and ended up playing the whole demo and I cannot wait until the full release of the game as I wanted more of the game even after the demo ended.
If you would like to play Hotel Renovator for
yourself, you can get the demo during Steam Next Fest which is going on from June 16 - June 22, 2021. I am not sure if the demo will be available after that time so if you like what you see of the gameplay be sure to wishlist the game on steam if you enjoy
it as well:
