The Following game Lightbreak was brought to my attention by the developer(s)/publisher(s) of the game. I would like to thank the developers/publishers for bringing the game to my attention to play on my stream.
The following Live Stream Footage of Lightbreak is either an alpha version, beta version, early access or, demo of the game. Therefore, the footage you see may or may not be featured in the final version of the game, also
there may be some noticeable bugs in the game.
In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays LightBreak on PC.
Lightbreak is a very beautiful music game. Graphically
the game is stunning, however, there are some things mechanics-wise that need to be tweaked with the game. For example, there needs to be a volume adjustment for the music and the actual notes of the game. They too tend to blend in together and can sometimes
make it hard to hear for those who are not musically trained. So adding a way to increase the sound of the notes versus the music would be nice.
There is another part in the game where you have to tune the notes,
which is fine but it doesn't give any notification on if you are in the right area for the tuning. So ideally you are just turning the notes until it clicks. I would like some type of indication letting me know if I was getting hot or cold with tuning the
notes, so I didn't have to turn the notes over and over again.
I would also like to see that there is a way to listen to the notes before you swap them. A lot of the times the notes would swap but sadly that was
the only way to listen to the notes as well. So having a way to listen to them before swapping them would be a nice feature to add to the game.
Overall, the game is beautiful and is a fun puzzle game. I just
feel like adding these few elements would make it more enjoyable for me to play, and make it less confusing to play. The thing is the game is also in development so there is a chance that what we see here in this footage can very well be changed.
