Disclaimer: This is the Ludo Narra Con 2021 Demo of the game and therefore it is best to realize that the following gameplay footage of Tunic is either an alpha version, beta version, early access or, demo of the game. Therefore, the footage you see may or may not be featured in the final version of the game, also there may be some noticeable bugs in the game.

Tunic is an action-adventure exploration game in which you play as a tiny fox who appears to have been washed up on the shore of an island. I love the game’s poly art style. The demo appears to be in Japanese or another language that I didn’t understand but still didn’t mean that I couldn’t play the game.

The game plays like most adventure games. You find weapons, take out the bad guys and explore the caves and the land. The menu for me was a little clunky. I would have liked to hit the RB and the menu would just pop up but I had to hold down the RB button to equip things. Not that big of a deal just something that I would like to see added to the full version of the game.

I will admit that I would have also liked some indication of what controls did in the game. I prefer for my attack to be A, however, the A button was the dodge button and once you equip your weapons those become your attack button. So again not a big deal-breaker, just some indication of A being the dodge button would be good.

Another thing I enjoyed about the game is that it appears that it will have some difficulty to it. So do not let the adorable little fox fool you, our little fox hero seems that he is going to be in for the adventure of his life in Tunic which is set to release on PC and macOS, and if you want to know when the game releases feel free to wishlist it via Steam.
