Ready Set Indie Games Presents: Scrapnaut: Prologue (PC)

In this gameplay video, Ready Set Indie Games plays Scrapnaut: Prologue on PC.

Scrapnaut: Prologue is an interesting survival game that puts you into a steampunk world that you have to survive in. Graphically the game looks fantastic and I love a good survival game, but there are some things that need some improvement in my opinion.

The controls were a little strange and all over the place for me. I would have like to be able to move by clicking the mouse instead of using WASD. Also running by holding shift or space makes it a little complicated. Like my hands had a hard time hitting the W key and holding shift and then try to turn the camera.

Now keep in mind others may be able to do this, but for me, I would like an option to be able to select if I would like to do movements with the mouse or keyboard. Another thing, I felt that the meter bars were a little unforgiving. I would be out to explore and have to constantly run back to the ship because within a few minutes the O2 bar would be just about to be depleted. Hungry bar depleted quickly and when I selected food to eat all my food would leave, I'd like to truly be able to rationalize my food and eat one instead of all.

Other than those few things, the game looked and was fun from what I did play. Just would like those little tweaks. Luckily, the game is still in development so I would love to see how this turns out because I am interested in the game.
