Ready Set Indie Games Presents: Skul: The Hero Slayer Demo (PC)

In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Skul Demo on PC.

In Skul you play as Littlebone, a small skeleton guard who is giving the task of going to rescue his king and council from the grasp of the humans. In the game, you are able to pick up the skull of other guards who have fallen in battle and gain their abilities which includes swordsman, minotaur, and a hunter to name a few.

This is a rogue-lite game and so the levels do change, as well as the difficulty. Some people get a little upset about the difficulty but I actually liked the difficult jumps. This is a rogue-lite game and since everything is random, you may not get the exact power you need to defeat a boss right off, so you will need to strategize with the powers you have been giving. My one thing is it takes some of the enemies a moment to hit so they are a bit easy and if the demo is set to an easy mode that would make sense and the current demo would be awesome as an easy mode and can be spent that if you choose to play as easy then your boss fights will be harder since you are powering through enemies. Just more of a suggestion as I'm not sure if that's what the developers are going for.

Another thing is I would love for them to do is maybe extend the number of levels so that you may get a least two different powers to use. I like the feature of switching between powers or at least keep your stand head as one of the power if you only have the one.

Other than that the game is pretty fun.
