Ready Set Indie Games Presents: Super Thundercats: The Lost Eye of Thundera (Fanmade Remake) (PC)
In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Super Thundercats: The Lost Eye of Thundera (Fanmade Remake) on PC
I had a hard time deciding rather if this game was Indie or if it was indeed retro. However, because this a remake of the actual Thundercats game from 1987 and even though it is from an Indie Developer. I have decided that this would technically fall under the Not an Indie Game, which explains the title at the begin of my video.
Super Thundercats: The Lost Eye of Thundera is a fanmade remake of the side-scrolling adventure from 1987 that puts you in the shoes of the leader of the Thundercats Lion-O. One day Lion-O goes out on a mission and when he comes back he is informed that the other Thundercats have been taken to Mumm-ra the ever-living's (Yes I totally said it in Mumm-ra's voice and if you know the show 9/10 you probably did too) Black Pyramid and he must go across the lands of third earth to retrieve his friends and comrades.
The game plays much like the 1987 version of the game just has been overhauled and a save feature has been added to the game. I thought that the game was awesome and really enjoyed what I did get to play of it.
You can use a keyboard or you can configure a controller to the game. Also, to navigate the menus you have to go up to go down if that makes sense to you.
Otherwise, this is a great job of a nostalgia game being remade.
