In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Frightened Beetles on PC.

Frightened Beetles is a short indie game in which you control three different beetles after being frightened. The game is no very long but if you have trouble focusing or paying attention the game could go longer. Overall, I thought the game was a bit fun and would have loved for this to have been a longer game, although this is free to play.

If you would like to play Frightened Beetles for yourself, you can do so on the following platform(s):

In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Afterlife on PC.

Afterlife is an RPG game that has some characteristics of a shmup to it as when you do battle in this game you shoot like bullets at your enemies. The game has you playing a soul who wants to return back to life, which apparently can be done by going through a portal that leads you back to life. Sadly, Dr. Krull an evil Dr who wants to get back to Life as well is trying to obtain the 8 keys to do so. The demo does exactly what is it supposed to do, making you want to play more of this game.

In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Ruggnar on PC.

Ruggnar is a platformer game in which you play as a dwarf who has gone out on his own to collect coins to become reach. He does this by going into what appears to be a set of dark caverns and the main kicker to this game is that he is doing this all by candlelight.

I found the game to be interesting and wanted to play more of it. I'd like to see if enemies are introduced to the game or if artistically speaking the dark is technically your enemy.

If you would like to play Ruggnar for yourself, you can do so on the following platform(s):

PC
macOS
Linux

In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Jazz Lightning Castle Dungeons on PC.

Jazz Lightning Castle Dungeons is a 2D action platformer in which you play as Jazz Lightning and must get through the castles many dungeons. Although I got stuck on the third level of this game, I thought the game was really fun and is quite difficult. If you are one that rages quickly with games, this may not be the game for you. Other than that, I would recommend trying it out.

In this gameplay video from Ready Set Indie Games, TripG87 plays Rikki & Vikki on PC.

Rikki & Vikki is an indie puzzling platformer game that reminds you of the old co-op game. In this game, you play as Rikki, Vikki or Rikki and Vikki (if you're doing co-op) who are going after a dragon who has stolen their kids in the middle of the night. So doing what any responsible parent would do, they go after the dragon to retrieve their kids. Looking to be inspired by Solomon's Key as you must collect all the keys to exit the level and there are actually over 100 levels to complete.

If you would like to play Rikki and Vikki for yourself, you can do so on the following platform(s):
